Dovide Secter, owner of Secter Design Limited, works his magic on residential renovations, new constructions, and additions in Winnipeg and the surrounding Lake Country in Canada. In his design, “Hide and Seek,” Secter created a space that is highly functional and modern.
The kitchen is unique in its ability to serve the minimalistic aesthetic of the owners while also affording the amenities of a working, breathing kitchen and family lifestyle. The judging panel concluded that the design is consistent and controlled, with a great sense of delicacy of proportion that creates a balletic perfection. Judges loved the beautiful clean lines, simple use of materials, excellent use of a small space, and asymmetry.
